GEORGIA – Today, former college football offensive analyst and University of Tennessee Volunteers Head Football Coach Derek Dooley officially enters the Georgia U.S. Senate transfer portal.

Dooley is a graduate of the University of Virginia and has spent the last 28 years in leadership positions coaching on the Alabama Crimson Tide, Southern Methodist University, LSU, Louisiana Tech, Mizzou, and the Tennessee Volunteers football programs.

With most of his adult life spent away from his state of birth, Dooley is excited for the opportunity to be back in Georgia to run the most important play of his career.

The decades of experience in an incredibly competitive field and several wins, gives Dooley the necessary background that Republicans need to turn around an 0-3 U.S. Senate program.
